Tees and Sweats are in!

Preordered long sleeved tees and 1/4 zip fleece have arrived!  You may pick them up in the office during regular office hours.  Hours: Monday-Thursday 9-3, Friday 9-6, Saturday-Sunday 9-4.  Orders should be shipped to those who requested it next week.

ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION SALE!

We are in celebration mode! On Saturday, September 30 we will be celebrating our 125th anniversary. We decided to offer members 25% off all of our in-stock merchandise for the weekend of September 29-October 1. This includes shirts, cups, and koozies.

At the moment, we have a good supply of Carolina blue and teal (no 3XL in teal) adult tees. We have a few navy tees – no size large. Also in stock are a few youth and toddler tees in red and royal. We have a large supply of red/blue cups with lids and straws, and blue koozies.

These would make great Christmas presents!

Commemorative Tees and Sweats!

As we celebrate our 125th anniversary, we are offering commemorative long sleeved tees and 1/4 zip sweats to our members. They will have the 125th anniversary logo on the front, and the line drawing of the Club on the back.

The tees are Comfort Colors garment-dyed heavyweight long sleeve tees with a lived in feel and almost no shrinkage at home. They are soft, ring spun cotton fabric with 100% cotton threads. These shirts are heavier and warmer than the short sleeve tees we have offered the past few years.

Prices: S-XL ~ $34         2XL ~ $36         3XL ~ $37

The sweats are a Port and Company core fleece 1/4-Zip pullover sweatshirt. They are 50/50 cotton/poly fleece with air jet yarn for softness. The zipper is dyed to match.

You must place your order by e-mailing ewbeall@gmail.com.  Be very specific about what you want to order. State long sleeved tee or 1/4-Zip, color as noted in picture, and size.  Once you place your order, you will be responsible for purchasing the hoodie. No refunds will be given.  Orders are due by Saturday, September 23 at 5:00pm. We expect them to be available for pick up at the Club office by the end of October. Preorders will be charged to the member’s account. We will ship orders for a fee of $10. Shipping fee may be higher for large orders. If you want your order shipped, state that in your order e-mail and list the shipping address.

OFFICE HOURS: The office will be open daily 9 am – 6 pm.

SNACK BAR: We will now be open Tuesday – Friday 11-2. Saturday / Sunday hours will be 11 – 3:00. As always, we will be closed on Mondays. The menu and pricing will be available at the snack bar and online. Like last year, you may order at the snack bar window, by calling in your order, or by using the online ordering system at www.hanoverseaside.club. Remember you can use your dining room minimum at the snack bar!

Room Availability: There is one room available August 5-12 week and rooms available August 26th and into the off-season. Call the office for details.

UPCOMING SOCIAL EVENTS:

Bingo Wednesday, 19th 7:00 -9:00 pm– Adults are $3/4 cards and kids are $1/card. Please bring a prize if you’re able (food, candy, watermelon, gift certificates etc).

Party on the Porch July 29th 6:00 – 8:00 pm – Come join your Seaside friends and make new ones. We’ll have a 50/50 drawing, so bring your cash and hope to win! Our very own, Bub White will be our musician and we’ll have 2 choices of food truck! Pepe’s (a favorite from last year) and Port City Dawgs will both be here. BYOB or beer and wine available. Menus for the food trucks below.

We are looking for $500 sponsors for our next events! Great place to advertise with your banners, giveaways and mentions in blogs and on our website. We need 1 sponsor for August 19, 1 sponsor for Labor Day, and 2 sponsors for our Oktoberfest celebration of our German heritage on September 30. Oktoberfest would be an excellent time to celebrate or 125th anniversary, so start gathering your photos and memories!

SECURITY: We’ve had issues with trespassers again this year. There will be a security guard working weekends and will ask for your member number if you’re not wearing your wristband. Please be respectful of the policies.

RULES: Please be sure to read the General Rules that are located near the bottom of the Quick Links page of the website. A few rules have been revised, especially in the meals section which falls at the end of the document. Also, please make sure you go over the rules with your children.

PARTY POLICY: The Party Policy, located on the Quick Links page of the website, has been revised. The Club is the perfect place to host parties, events, weddings, etc. We have reviewed our pricing for room rentals and lowered pricing in some areas to make the Club a more viable option for members and their guests. It’s not too early to reserve the Club for fall and holiday parties. Call the front desk to set up an appointment.

Trash should be placed in designated containers

Tables in the snack bar area should be wiped clean after use

Any belongings left where they do not belong will be removed.

FROM THE SOCIAL COMMITTEE:

The opening party for the 125th birthday of the HSC season was a huge success with about 150 people rekindling friendships and enjoying delicious food! The raffle basket winners were LuAnn Bartolo and Jason Padgett. Thank you for your support!

We’re looking for volunteers, young and old, for the July 4th celebration! Many hands make light work, so please consider helping hand out ribbons at the beach races, help at the fishing “pond” or cupcake walk., setting up or taking down. Contact Cher Pridgen at cpridgen654@gmail.com to volunteer or ask questions.

Room Rentals: When staying on the third floor, please remember to bring your pillows. No linens or pillows are provided.

There are still a few rooms available this summer. Call the office for availability. If rooms remain available one month prior to a request for a partial week, the room will be rented for a shorter period of time. Minimum stay is 2 nights.

No beach chairs, toys, boogies boards, etc. can be left on porches or under stairwells Chair racks are for use by those renting rooms on the 3rd floor ONLY

Surfboards, clothing, and personal belongings should not be placed on picnic tables

Trash should be placed in designated containers

Tables in the snack bar area should be wiped clean after use

Any belongings left where they do not belong will be removed.

PARKING STICKERS: Parking stickers were included with the opening letter. Please have the current sticker affixed to cars by May 27. The primary color will be orange. One car per family with the primary sticker will be the only one allowed to park on May 27th and July 4th.

Tickets are $5 each or 5 tickets for $20 (cash only). Vince Stout will be playing the steel drum.
