A special shoutout goes to our incredible volunteers—your hard work and dedication behind the scenes made everything run smoothly. From setting up tables to organizing games and managing logistics, you helped create a day full of joy and lasting memories. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We also appreciate everyone’s cooperation with the parking and wristband guidelines—it helped ensure a safe and organized event for all.

Parking & Wristband Reminder

All vehicles must display a member sticker or guest pass—no exceptions. Cars without a sticker or guest pass will be towed at the owner’s expense.

• Guest passes & wristbands: Pick them up from the parking lot attendant on weekends or the office if the attendant is unavailable.If both are closed, leave a note on your dash with the member’s name and number.

Wristbands must be worn or visible at all times on Club property—including when coming up from the beach.

📌 Rules to Remember at the Club

To help everyone enjoy their time at the Club, please keep these important guidelines in mind:

1. Bathing suits, wet or dry, are not allowed on the 2nd floor, including porches. Put on a cover up when passing through.
2. Friday through Sunday we have a parking lot attendant on duty. Stop at the table to get guest passes, guest wristbands, and to sign guests in.
3. For those renting rooms, check-in is on Saturday at 4:00. Check-out is Saturday at 10:00. A late fee is charged for people who check out late. You must go to the desk and check out and pay bills for meals, etc. before leaving the Club. You cannot be checked out in the computer system until all fees are paid.
4. You cannot leave beach chairs, toys, surf or boogie boards on the front porch or in the snack bar. The chair racks beside the stairs are for those renting rooms only. Any items left will be confiscated.
5. Those renting a shelf in the surf locker on the north side of the building need to remember to keep it locked at all times. Also, you cannot leave chairs and other items in the locker unless they fit on your shelf. Any items found on the floor or leaning against the walls will be removed.
6. Surf boards, clothing, and towels should not be left on the picnic tables on the porch. The tables are for members to enjoy meals. Items left on the tables will be removed.
7. Parties are not allowed on the soundside property. The pier may not be reserved for get-togethers. Picnic tables and grills at the sound are for use by all members.
8. Wristbands are required any time on Club property, including the sound. Either wear the band on your wrist or attach it to your beach bag where it can easily be seen. If you forget your wristband, stop by the office and get a guest band for the day.
9. Please be pleasant to our staff if they stop you to ask your name/member number if you are not wearing a wristband. They are doing their job!
10. You are welcome to have guests at the Club any day except July 4. Be sure to sign them in and get a pass for their car ($10) and a wrist band (free). Remember, you must be on the premises the entire time you have a guest on site.
11. Be sure to clean up after yourself – place trash in designated containers, wipe off your table in the snack bar, and remove all personal belongings. We have hundreds of members and their guests using the Club at any one time. If everyone cleans up after themselves well, our property will stay much neater!
12. To tie up at the pier, you must have a current boat sticker. Even if you are only coming for a quick lunch, all boats must have stickers. Also, boats stored on the racks must have current stickers or they will be removed. Only members renting rooms on the 3rd floor can dock overnight.

Reminders for a Smooth Summer

• Parking Stickers: Must be placed on the passenger side windshield. Guest passes must be displayed on the dash. Unauthorized vehicles will be towed at the owner’s expense.
• Wristbands: All members and guests must wear or visibly display wristbands while on Club property. If you’re not wearing one, you may be asked for your name or member number.
  ➤ Pick up your 2025 wristbands at the Club Office.
  ➤ Guest wristbands are available at no charge.
• Guests: You are welcome to have guests at the Club. Be sure to sign them in and get a pass for their car ($10 any day except July 4) and a wrist band (free). Remember, you must be on the premises the entire time you have a guest on site.
  ➤ Sign in guests at the main office or the snack bar area.
  ➤ Guests must wear wristbands and be accompanied by a responsible adult member.
  ➤ Guest parking passes are required and can be purchased for $10/day from the parking lot attendant or the office (before 4 PM).

Tomorrow, Friday, May 16, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM is the last opportunity to pick up your opening letter and parking stickers in person before the weekend. Any packets not picked up will be mailed.

Help us save on postage! If you prefer to pick up your packet instead of having it mailed, please call the office to let them know.

Parking stickers should be placed inside the windshield on the passenger side starting Saturday, May 24. Guest passes, when available, can be purchased for $10/day from the Parking Lot Attendant or the Club Office.

 

Wristbands

All members and guests must wear or visibly display wristbands while on Club property. Pick up your 2025 wristbands in the Club Office. Guest wristbands are also available at no charge. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and welcoming environment!

 

Congratulations to Gregg & Carrie!

We are thrilled to share the joyful news that Gregg, our HSC Club Manager, and Carrie, a valued HSC team member, are now officially married!  The HSC family would like to extend our warmest congratulations to the happy couple. We wish them a lifetime filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories!

As part of our Opening Weekend Porch Party festivities, we’ll also be celebrating the newlyweds! If you’d like to share your well wishes, we’ll have a card and gift box available during the event for personal notes or monetary gifts.

Dining Room Reservations and Meal Information

Reservations are required for all meals served in the Dining Room. To reserve meals, call the Club office at 910-256-2726.

• Breakfast: Reserve by 12:00 PM the day before
• Weekday meals: Reserve by 2:00 PM the day of
• Sunday meals: Reserve by 5:00 PM the Friday before

During the week of June 1–8, only breakfast will be served in the dining room. There will be no lunch or dinner served in the dining room during this time. Please see below for the Snack Bar schedule.

Full meal service begins on June 9, 2025.

Members are responsible for payment of all reserved meals and no-shows. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid charges.

Note:

• All meal prices are subject to change.
• Taxes apply to all meals.
• Special events may be priced differently.
• Baked or Grilled entrée instead of fried by request at reservation
• Optional Children’s Menu available by request at reservation.

For children 12 & under: 

• Chicken Tenders
  • Ages 6–12: 3 tenders
  • Ages 3–5: 2 tenders
• Hot Dog
  • Ages 6–12: 2 hot dogs
  • Ages 3–5: 1 hot dog

  • 1 sandwich (all ages)
• All meals include sides served from the buffet.

Members and guests occupying rooms must pay for all meals served during their stay. Evening meals are not served on Wednesday, Saturday, or Sunday. Sunday Lunch is offered on specific dates, and attendance will determine the frequency of Sunday lunches next season.

If you enjoy Sunday lunch at the Club and want to see them continue or increase, please join us!

Snack Bar Schedule

The snack bar will be open from 11:00 AM–3:00 PM on the following pre-season weekends:

• May 24–26 (Saturday–Monday, Memorial Day Weekend)
• May 31–June 1 (Saturday–Sunday)
• June 7–8 (Saturday–Sunday)

Summer snack bar hours begin Tuesday, June 10 and are as follows:

• Tuesday–Friday: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Saturday–Sunday: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Closed Mondays (except holidays)

Lockers

Small inside lockers are available to rent for $10/year. If you are interested, please call the office. All other lockers have a waitlist. If you rented a locker last year, your locker payment was included in your dues bill.

 

Merchandise

If you recently placed an order through our online store and selected Club pick-up, your items are now ready for pickup in the Club Office. Don’t forget—we also have a great selection of merchandise available for purchase, including adult & toddler T-shirts, coffee mugs, koozies, lidded cups, and more! Stop by the Parlor to browse our collection. Purchases can be made anytime the office is open.
