The Constitution Committee is searching for minutes of Annual Meetings from the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s. For those of you who may have kept old records, please check your files. If you find old minutes, please send a copy of them to the Hanover Seaside Club, PO Box 1085, Wilmington, NC 28402 marked to the attention of the Constitution Committee.

Want to know what’s going on at the Hanover Seaside Club? Just click on the Calendar in the menu bar and you will see the events scheduled for the summer. If you click on the event, a window will open giving your more information on the event and who to contact. Remember, reservations are required for all meals including the luau, 4th of July fried chicken lunch, and Summer Valentine dinner. Reservations are not required for the monthly Covered Dish Dinners.

New events will be added as I learn of them, so check the calendar often so you don’t miss anything.

Mother’s Day is just around the corner. There are two sitting for the Mother’s Day Sunday Buffet, but they fill quickly. Call now for your reservations!

The Hanover Seaside Club will offer two seatings for the Easter Sunday Buffet – 11:30 AND 1:00. The cost is: Adults – $12.95, Seniors – $11.25, Children – $7.00, Tots – $4.00.

What could be better than waking up to the sun rising over the beautiful Atlantic?  Then after a delicious breakfast prepared by Mollene and her staff you can spend a day relaxing on the beach or playing on the sound.  There are golf courses close by, as well as lots to see and do in Wilmington and at Fort Fisher.  You can finish your day with a delicious dinner and watch the sun set over Masonboro Sound.

It’s not too late for members to send in reservation forms for you and/or your guests. There are rooms available for the following:

At the Hanover Seaside Club, we are always looking for a reason to celebrate! Members and their guests are invited to join us for a St. Patrick’s Day covered dish supper at 6:00pm on Saturday, March 17. Wear green, bring along a favorite recipe and have a great night with your friends. After dinner there will be music for those who wish to dance. No need to register – just come prepared to have have some fun! For more details, contact Linda Tinga or Jean Lawler.

Room reservation forms for the 2012 summer season should be mailed to the Club’s PO Box on March 1. Remember, only members occupying rooms can send their reservations at this time. Reservation forms postmarked prior to March 1 will not be considered. If possible, give options for different weeks and different rooms to make your chance of getting a room higher. The House Committee will meet to assign rooms once all reservations have been received. Rooms are assigned on a first come – first served basis.
