🍽️ Final Off-Season Meals – Fall 2025

As the season winds down, don’t miss your last chances to gather with fellow members over two delicious meals in the dining room. These are the final off-season dining events — let’s end the season on a high note!

Important Dates:

  • Final Friday Dinner: October 24
  • Final Sunday Lunch: October 26 — the last meal of the season!
  • Dining minimum expires: October 31
  • New fiscal year begins: November 1

Let’s make these last meals memorable — we look forward to seeing you in the dining room!

🍤 Friday Dinner – October 24 (6:00–6:45 PM)

  • Entrées: Fried Flounder or Fried Shrimp (Baked Flounder or Grilled Shrimp available upon request)
  • Sides: Potato Salad, Slaw, Corn, Hushpuppies
  • Extras: Salad Bar, Ice Cream Bar, Drinks

🥩 Sunday Lunch – October 26 (1:00–1:45 PM)

  • Entrées: Prime Rib and Grilled Shrimp
  • Sides: Mashed Potatoes, Vegetable Medley, Fried Okra
  • Extras: Salad Bar, Rolls, Dessert, Drinks

📬 Reminder: Paying Account Balances Before Fiscal Year-End

As we approach the end of the fiscal year, we kindly remind all members to settle any outstanding account balances by October 31.

You can make payments in any of the following ways:

  • By phone
  • By mailing a check
  • Online through the Club website

Need help logging in to your account online? Just give the office a call — we’re happy to assist!

📞 Starting Thursday, October 23, the office will begin reaching out to members with unpaid balances. If you know you have a balance, please don’t wait — call the office to make a payment and avoid any last-minute issues.

Thank you for your attention to this important matter and for helping us close out the fiscal year smoothly!

Iron Man Triathlon – October 24–25, 2025

The Hanover Seaside Club is proud to host the Iron Man Triathlon on Friday and Saturday, October 24–25. Event activities will take place in the main parking lot and sound side dock.

🚧 Please note:

  • The main parking lot will be closed from Friday afternoon through Saturday afternoon.
  • Club members may use the gravel parking lot during this time.

Thank you for your cooperation as we welcome this exciting event to the Club!

🏠 Off-Season Reminders

  • Building Access: The 2nd floor doors will be locked after 6 PM unless a dinner or event is scheduled.
  • Snack Bar Access: Call the office if you need the code after hours.
  • Room Reservations: Interested in reserving a room upstairs this off-season? Call the office to check availability. A 2-night minimum applies.

The holiday season is just around the corner, and we have a festive lineup of events planned for members of all ages. Mark your calendars and join us for food, fun, and holiday cheer!

🎄 Decorate for Christmas

  • Help us transform the Club for the holidays! Join fellow members as we deck the halls and spread some seasonal joy.

🦃 Thanksgiving Dinner

  • 📅 Sunday, November 23
  • 🕐 1:00 PM
  • Gather with friends and family for a traditional Thanksgiving feast.
  • Pricing:
    • Adults: $20.00 + tax
    • Children (6–12): $11.00 + tax
    • Children (3–5): $3.00 + tax
  • Menu Highlights: Turkey with Gravy, Stuffing, Green Bean Casserole, Mac & Cheese, Collards, Maple Whipped Sweet Potatoes, Cranberry Sauce, Salad Bar, Rolls, Pumpkin Pie, and Drinks

🚤 Flotilla & Chili on the Pier

  • 📅 Saturday, November 29
  • 🕕 6:00 PM
  • Enjoy hot chili with all the fixings on the pier as we celebrate the Flotilla!
  • Cost: $10.00 + tax per person
  • After the Flotilla, warm up with cookies and hot chocolate in the dining room.

🎁 Adult Christmas Party

  • 📅 Saturday, December 13
  • 🕕 6:00 PM
  • A festive evening for members only! There’s no charge for this event, but reservations are required — reserve your spot today.

🎅 Cookies with Santa

  • 📅 Saturday, December 20
  • 🕙 10:00 AM
  • Santa is coming to the Club! Bring the kiddos (and a wrapped present for your child from Santa) for cookies and a visit with Santa. Please RSVP as soon as possible by calling the office.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the following members:

  • Bill Humphrey, Jr. who passed away on August 19, 2025
  • Bill Butler who passed away on August 29, 2025
  • Jeanie Renegar who passed away on September 16, 2025.
