NEWS ~ JUNE 5, 2021

NEW MEMBER ORIENTATION: All members who joined the Hanover Seaside Club since May of 2020 are invited to join us for Muffins with the Manager on Saturday, June 12 at 10:00am. At this time, you will meet our new manager, learn interesting history about the HSC, hear an overview of our rules and policies, and gather an understanding of our family culture. Please reserve your spot by calling the Club office at 910-256-2726 no later than noon on Tuesday, June 8. We hope to see all of our new members there.

FAMILY FUN NIGHT: Come one, come all! Saturday, June 19, 5-8pm is Family Fun Night at the Club! Upstairs there will be a cash cocktail bar for the adults. In the snack bar area, we will be serving a hot dog plate with all the fixings – pasta salad, chips, ice cream, watermelon, and lemonade. The cost is $5 per child and $10 per adult. There will be an inflatable Dragon obstacle course, bubbles, and games to play. The price for this event will help defray the cost of the meal and obstacle course. Dinner will be served from 5-6 with games and activities to follow. Please call to make reservations by Tuesday, June 15 at noon. No kids? Come have a drink and rock with us on the porch!

FATHER’S DAY SPECIAL: Since all Snack Bar food is cooked in our kitchen, we are not able to offer the Father’s Day Buffet this year. But we want to honor our fathers, so on Father’s Day, we will be offering a very special meal in our Snack Bar. Come enjoy a Prime Rib Sandwich with thin sliced prime rib on a hoagie bun with Swiss cheese, pepperoncini, and horseradish cream cheese. Cost of the special is $8.99. Add fries and a drink and get a Father’s Day Special Meal for $10.99. You may eat your meal in the dining room, snack bar, on the porch – or take it on the beach or to the pier! As always, you can order your Snack Bar food online at hanoverseaside.club or by calling the Club office

Please keep in mind that to save us money and keep our dues as low as possible, we are running our Club this year with a smaller staff. If you step in the office and no one is behind the desk, please wait patiently. The office attendant may be helping another member away from the desk. If the door is locked, no attendant is on duty. If you call and nobody answers, leave a message and someone will return your call. Occasionally, you may get a message that the mailbox is not able to take a message. Wait a few minutes and try again. We are training new staff all over the Club, so please introduce yourself and be polite and friendly while the staff learns their new jobs.

PILLOWS: For those renting rooms, remember that the Club no longer supplies pillows – you must bring your own. Guess who forgot this last weekend? Yep, me! Thought I should remind you so you aren’t in the same boat.

CURRENT BOAT AND CAR STICKERS MUST BE IN PLACE!

IF YOU HAVE NOT TAKEN CARE OF THIS YET, DO IT QUICKLY.
