NEWS ~ MAY 16, 2022

CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE? WE ARE GETTING READY FOR YOU!

SNACK BAR:  The Snack Bar will be open this weekend, May 21 and 22 so be sure to come down for some lunch. The menu will remain the same with all of your favorites. Prices are a little higher due to the increase in cost of food and labor. But, we think it’s still the best deal around. Be sure to use online ordering to get your order fast and hot. Or, you can call your order in to the office phone at 910-256-2726. The Snack Bar will be closed during the week, but will reopen on Saturday, May 28 for the Memorial Day weekend.

PARTY ON THE PORCH:  You have already received your flyer for the Party on the Porch on Saturday, May 28 from 6-9pm. We are doing things a little differently this year. Bring your own bottle and give it to the bartender. The bartender will have cups, mixers, and everything you need for him to mix your drink. During the evening just go to the bar, give him your name, and order your drink. Don’t forget to pick up your bottle at the end of the evening. We can not store your liquor. Call the Club office to make your reservation to attend this party. Bring an appetizer to share!  Bub White will be providing music.

We will be asking sponsors to pay $200 to pay for the party. This keeps the parties free and doesn’t impact our budget. If you or your company would like to sponsor a party, please contact Cher Pridgen.

Thanks to East Coast Autos and Trailers (Dan and Angie Harris) for sponsoring our first party.

WRISTBANDS:  We will be requiring members to wear wristbands again this year.  They really helped us identify who should be on our property last year. The color is different this year, so you must pick your wrist band up at the Club office.  You must beging wearing them on Saturday, May 28.  One person can pick them up for your entire family.  Be sure to stop in the office and pick up guest bands for all guests.  For those of you who are engaged, you must get guest bands for your fiancee each time they accompany you to the Club.  Only members are allowed to wear member bands.
