Dear Members,
As discussed at our last Annual Meeting, the Board of Directors has been evaluating facility needs related to portions of the club’s concrete structure and other building systems. Following careful review, the Board has approved a comprehensive repair and restoration project designed to address these needs and help preserve the Hanover Seaside Club for future generations.
To complete this work safely and efficiently, the club will be closed beginning October 25, 2026, with a projected reopening in March 2027. While construction schedules can be affected by weather and unforeseen conditions, the Board believes that undertaking these improvements now is the most responsible course of action to protect the long-term integrity of the club and reduce the likelihood of more significant issues in the future.
One of the key components of this project involves repairs to portions of the club’s structural system. If you are at the club between now and October 25, you may notice missing connecting rods in portions of the concrete structure. When the club was originally constructed, connecting rods were installed through wooden seal plates and concrete runners to secure portions of the structure together. Over time, deterioration of these components has occurred and repairs are now necessary. We will also be cleaning and restoring portions of the concrete structure as part of the overall project.
The information below outlines important dates, member responsibilities, and access restrictions during construction. We understand that a temporary closure is an inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience, cooperation, and continued support as we invest in the future of our club.
Sincerely,
Dan Harris
President
Hanover Seaside Club

Thank you for your patience, cooperation, and continued support as we invest in preserving our beloved Club for future generations.
